Now called "Green Start"

Home Sustrainability Assessors who have spent hard earned money to train & license themselves to work

under the new Green Start Scheme have been left with no contract to work under the scheme.

These newly trained contractors have paid up to $2500 to train for the qualificaion to work under the scheme

but the federal government and private associations involved in this scheme have done absolutely

nothing to assist the new Assessors to obtain the contracts required to earn a living.

Josh Forrest of EcoCell Sustainable Living says, "We the newly trained Assessors feel like we have been robbed,and left out in the cold with nowhere to go.

I spent time and money to obtain the qualification of Household Sustainability Assessor, and to date the federal government has not come to the party and licensed us.

We also were urged to join the ABSA  (The Association of Building Assessors) which cost $600 yearly.

They have done nothing to help the Assessors obtain their licenses and are guilty of taking money for dud memberships.

They do nothing for us".
